Bishop Lucius Ugorji Model School Ihechiowa receives Episcopal Anointing

It was the philosopher Heraclitus who said that change is the only permanent reality.

To inspire a sense of realism to this Heraclitian aphorism, Rev. Fr. Remigius Ezeibekwe has introduced the wind of change into the educational life of Ihechiowa and its environs.

This he did by introducing the indigenes to a Model School named after the education loving bishop, Lucius Ugorji.

The school comprises of Nursery, Primary and Secondary Schools. The Nursery and Primary was established in 2018 while the Secondary level came into existence in 2019.

Ever since it’s existence, Bishop Lucius Ugorji Model School has been the talk of the Town. Every student wants to enroll in the school. Schools in Ihechiowa are categorized as: Bishop Lucius Ugorji Model School and Others.

At the sidelines of his visit to Ututu deanery on the 17th March, 2021 where the staff and students of the put up a sterling performance to entertain the bishop with his entourage a revelation was made on the school by the Chief shepherd of Umuahia diocese.

“You have a fantastic school here, with an excellent head and staff who are here to help you discover your objectives in life and your vocation and to support you in them ‘ which is what Catholic schools are all about”, Bishop Ugorji said.

The school which is under the management of Rev. Fr. Remigius Ezeibekwe and his team has as it mission and vision statements as follows.
