The football meastro was yet again handed a role to play in his team’s starting XI following his outstanding performance for the club in their previous game and he was able to shine.

Sebastien Haller has been in scintillating form for the Erik ten Hag’s side this season having been firing from all cylinders for his team across all competitions, with his superb delivery in their opening game where he bagged four goals after he was mistakenly left out in their last season’s UEFA Europa league squad.

He yet again extended his tally yesterday as he scored yet another goal in his side victory which was instrumental in their 2-0 win and as such keeps them on the top of the table.

The host opened the scoring sheet in the 17th minute with a goal from Steven Berghuis to make it one nil before Sebastien Haller doubled the lead in the 43rd minute, after been assisted by the goal opener to make it two goals to nil going into the half time break.

The tempo of the game got more intensed in the second half as they both put up some physical, tactical and technical displays but none was able to found the back of the net with all attempts to do so proving abortive as it ended two goals to nil at full time.

After the game, European football governing body popularly known as UEFA has reacted to the astonishing performance from the forward maestro with a post via their verified twitter handle.

UEFA posted that Sebastien Haller is now the first player to score 5 goals or more in his first 2 appearances in the Champions League as they capped it all with a clap emoji to commend him for his outstanding performance.

Ajax with the win now sit at the top of the table and will as such be hoping to keep the winning streaks going in their next fixture, with Sebastien Haller also optimistic of keeping his goal scoring form on track to extend his tally and keep helping his team.
